"They often accompany Poseidon and are always friendly and helpful towards sailors fighting perilous storms."Poseidon, in Greek mythology, is Triton's father (this company's address is "100 Poseidon Circle" in Stevenson, Washington). Triton's mother, Amphitrite, was a Nereid.
NY Magazine has obtained the call-sheet for the JJ Abrams produced top secret monster movie code-named Cloverfield/1-18-08. The call sheet for “day 33 of 33″ of shooting appears to reveal the film’s opening scene, ending, and an alternative ending (both of which appear to be very similar on the call sheet). Warning: Do not click on the image to the right or read any further, if you don’t want to know what happens.
NY Magazine also mentioned /Film in their report:
On Monday night, blog /Film reported on a scene in which principal characters Rob and Beth (played by unknowns Michael Stahl-David and Odette Yustman) are buried in debris while hiding under a bridge, and speculated that this could be the movie’s conclusion. From the looks of Monday’s call sheet, it just might be.
But the question is: couldn’t this call-sheet be a planted fake? It certainly sounds like something JJ Abrams and crew might do. And it seems too coincidental that the magazine was easily able to obtain the call sheet so easily from a set which has been sworn to secrecy (even the crew members have been told not to reveal the name of the film). Also, Scene #160 could just be the End of the Central Park sequence, and not the end of the movie. Although, most movies usually have around 150-200 “scenes” in the shooting draft of the screenplay. You can see photos and watch video from this shoot in our previous set report.
According to the call sheet, the production shot a few exteriors on Tuesday, and scene 1 of the movie, which was shot inside the Trump International Hotel and Tower. Basically, Rob moves throughout Beth’s apartment with his handicam. This is apparently how things will begin.
According to this document, as of today, production has wrapped on Cloverfield.

Mick in the chatroom sent me over to this site to check out what appears to be the call sheet for the shooting in NY these past couple days. It does give away some shots and what could possibly be the ending and an alternate ending, but take a look and you be the judge, it looks pretty legit to me. Of course as they state on that page, it could have been planted haha. Oh, and at the bottom notice that it says “Thats a Wrap” so it looks like the filming process could be finished, or at least finished in New York.

I know it’s not Cloverfield / 1-18-08 news but since it’s been slow I figured this would fill the space. I mean I could write an entire post about this interesting theory that was posted on the forum, but I’d rather not post too much BS if there is no source
So back to JJ Abrams, according to Variety Abrams will be producing a Thriller for Paramount in the next few years. Looks like Abrams is going to be busy for a long while, which is perfect for us, we’ll never run out of stuff to write about. Of course, as with everything surrounding Abrams, everyone is extremely tight lipped about the project so nobody really knows what it is, other than a thriller.
“Paramount Pictures has acquired a pitch for an untitled supernatural thriller that will be written and directed by Josh Marston and produced by J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot.”

JJ Abrams has sold a pitch for a new supernatural thriller to be written and directed by Maria Full of Grace filmmaker Josh Marston. The yet-to-be-titled-film will be produced under JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot production company, which means - we don’t know and won’t know shit for a long while. That’s right, yet another film being produced by JJ Abrams where the details are being kept under wraps.
I’m sure a teaser trailer will show up attached to Cloverfield/1-18-08 which points to a myspace profile which launches a viral web campaign where users will debate the nature of the supernatural element at length on forums across the interweb. Abrams will likely appear at Comic-Con 2008 during the Paramount panel, disappoint the millions of fanboys suckered into the viral marketing, and attempt to beat last year’s record for the shortest and least informative panel ever.
According to Variety, Bad Robot now has at least seven projects set up at Paramount, spanning the comedy, romantic comedy, horror and supernatural genres. And yes, that’s all we know. Bad Robot will produce two films per year for the studio, which gives fanboys playing at home about six months to uncover a plot synopsis from a pile of movable photos on some website.
Us bitter? Nah…
